Description
The very rare wild elves are rarely seen by others, because they live in the heart of thick forests and they have incredible skill at keeping hidden. Also called green elves, their skin tends to be dark brown, and their hair ranges from black to light brown, lightening to silvery white with age.
Regions
Wild elves favor warm southern forests and jungles, such as the Chondalwood, the Methwood, the Forest of Amtar, and the Misty Vale. Wild elven characters may use the wild elf entry on Table 1-4: Character Regions (FRCS, p. 30) or choose the Chondalwood, Chessenta, Chult, or the Shaar as their home region.
Religion
Unlike statet in the Player's Handbook, characters in the Forgotten Realms almost always have a patron deity. See FRCS p. 39 for more details.

Racial Traits
Wild elves correspond exactly to the wild elves presented in the Monster Manual (p. 104). They have all the elven racial traits given in Chapter 2 of the Player's Handbook (pp. 15) except as follows:
- +2 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence. Wild elves are hardier than other elves, but favor physical action and feats of athleticism instead of learning to solve problems.
- Favord class: Sorcerer.
